MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

OF THE EAST FELICIANA PARISH SCHOOL BOARD

HELD November 1, 2022

The East Feliciana Parish School Board (EFPSB) met for a regular session at the EFPSB office at 12732 Silliman Street, Clinton, Louisiana 70722 on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.

eisha L. Netterville, Superintendent of the EFPSB, called the meeting to order at 5:00p.m. Prayer led by Board Vice President Mitch Harrell and pledge said in unison. The attendance status of board members was as follows:

Agenda Approved

Board Member Michael Bradford made a motion to approve the agenda with additions and Board Member Joyce Kent seconded the motion. The motion to approve the agenda of the November 1, 2022 Regular Board Meeting passed with no opposition

Minutes Approved

Board Member Michael Bradford moved to approve the minutes of the October 4, 2022 Regular Board Meeting and Board Member Joyce Kent seconded the motion. The motion to approve the minutes passed with no opposition.

Special Recognitions

Presentations were made for employee of the month from Clinton Elementary and for students of the month from all schools for November 2022.

Communications/Reports

Sales Tax Collection Report

The Sales Tax Collection Report was presented by Susan Smith and received by the

board.

Superintendent's Report

The board received the Superintendent's Report as follows:

Personnel Report was presented to the board (for information only).

Received authorization for minute entry to reflect Louisiana Board of Ethics Training for Public Servants Certification as requested from Louisiana School Board Association for Board President Richard Terrell and Board Member Michael Bradford. The motion to accept was made by Board Member Michael Bradford seconded by Board Member Joyce Kent, The motion passed with no opposition.

New Business

The Board received, reviewed and adopted the Resolution of The East Feliciana Parish School Board in support of the LASS Accountability Proposal.

The Board received a request of ratification from Superintendent Netterville using her discretion on behalf of the East Feliciana Parish School Board donations received from McDonald Health Mart in the amount of fifty dollars, Sullivan's Dental in the amount of one hundred dollars, State Farm in the amount of one hundred and fifty dollars and Star Supermarket in the amount of one hundred fifty dollars, designated to Jackson

Elementary' s Physical Education Department.

The Board received and reviewed the written request for use of facilities by Danny Johnson Foundation to use the complex drive through and parking lot in Jackson on November 19, 2022 for the Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway. Further requested all fees be waived.

Board Member Michael Bradford made the motion to accept all items above and Board Member Joyce Kent seconded the motion. The motion passed with no opposition.

Adjournment

President Terrell moved to adjourn and a motion made by Board Member Michael Bradford and second by Board Member J.D. Dantzler. The November 1, 2022 Regular Board meeting ended at 5:20 p.m.
